WHY FUNDRAISE WITH US?
So no young person has to face inequality in sport, education, identity or opportunity on their own.
1 in 4 young people in the lowest income households feel people like them do not have much of a chance in life.
In the UK, disadvantaged pupils were almost twice as likely to fall behind. In the US, wealthy districts were four times more likely to recover learning. Globally, 40% of the poorest countries could not provide targeted support during COVID school closures, while physical inactivity hit low income communities hardest.
It’s hard to imagine how a young person sees themselves when compounded inequalities tied to education, physical activity, identity and opportunity shape their everyday life.
Boxing is Love exists so young people do not have to face them alone. Donate today and help change the futures of all the young people let down by systems they live, and join our movement in showing the world what the boxing community and the sport can do.

FAQ
Our mission trips are open to individuals with relevant experience or training in sports science, nutrition, medicine, education, or closely related fields. This includes students in later stages of study, qualified professionals, and practitioners working in applied settings. You do not need to be a boxer, but you do need to be aligned with our values and comfortable working collaboratively in unfamiliar environments.
Trips take place in underserved communities internationally, working in partnership with local boxing clubs, schools, and community organisations. Current and recent destinations include Ghana, Nigeria, Liberia, and South Africa. New locations added based on local demand and existing relationships.
Trips typically last 7 to 14 days, depending on the location and the nature of the work.
You will work directly alongside local partners to deliver essential education in health and science through boxing. Apart from the sport itself, this may include:
• Nutrition education and food literacy
• Strength and conditioning principles for young athletes
• Injury prevention and basic sports medicine
• Workshops that link health, education, and physical activity
Fundraising is encouraged but not mandatory. Some volunteers choose to fundraise to support the communities they are working with or to offset programme costs, but this is not a prerequisite for participation.
However, the more funds we have, the more we can provide to local communities.
