That’s why we begin by reaching, engaging, and connecting with some of the most disadvantaged young people through boxing. From their passion for the sport, we inspire them to reimagine what’s possible for their future, in education and careers.
VISION
A world where young people have the power to shape their futures through boxing
We often hear the phrase
"Boxing can take people off the streets",
but at Boxing is Love, we ask
"where to?"

WHO?
We work with disadvantaged young people aged 11–18, including those at risk of or already excluded from school, those with care experience, or those on the edge of care.
WHAT WE DO
Our termly programme teaches school subjects through boxing, delivers boxing sessions, connects young people to our Fellows network, and provides gear and small grants.
LATEST CAMPAIGN
Mental Health Awareness Month
May, 2025
According to Mind, one in four people in the UK are affected by mental health problems. Mental health is a universal issue, and athletes are no exception.
This Mental Health Awareness Month, we’re sharing research, real stories from amateur boxers and coaches, and highlighting resources to show how boxing supports mental wellbeing and transforms lives.

WORDS FROM JEN
Her dedication to the sport, and the care she brings to every young person she works with, is a powerful reminder of why coaches matter so deeply.
RESEARCH SHARING
At Boxing is Love, we tirelessly work to make knowledge and research more accessible through the lenses of boxing. Knowledge should not be locked behind academic jargon, and all young people deserve to learn through what they love and for us, that love is Boxing.

OUR VALUES
1
We want young people to recognise the worth and richness of their lives and cultures.
MEANING
2
Emphasis on root causes and context, not short term solutions

EXPERIENCE
Only lived experience and evidence based projects, no virtue signalling
3
AGENCY
We do not impose narratives or opinions onto communities
