You will gain hands-on experience in strategic planning, community engagement, networks and operational delivery, while working closely with a growing team.   • About

    We are looking to grow aggressively and given Boxraw’s industry reputation and connections, you will have the rare opportunity of playing a big part in facilitating sponsorship and fundarising deals at all levels.

    Role

    You will be responsible in researching potential grant openings, corporate foundation collaboration opportunities, developing strategies to attract donors, and patrons, drafting fundraising proposal and even plan fundraising events.

    About you

    You must have a sharp eye for opportunity and the strong writing skills to craft narratives and tell compelling stories. You must be highly organised and have not only a strong understanding of our mission, but able to develop, contextualise, and tailor it for people of different demographics

    We are committed to using original creative work for visual assets such as graphics, branding materials, and illustrations that bring our mission to life, particularly across our research, campaigns, and the insights we share on social media.

    Role

    You will be responsible for transforming complex information into accessible, engaging designs for Research Digest, and occasionally for campaigns or other projects. You will collaborate closely with the team to develop creative concepts and produce work that reflects the vision and values of Boxing Is Love.

    About you

    You’re a creative and reliable designer with experience in graphic design or illustration tools (Adobe, Canva, or similar). You have a portfolio of work showcasing clear, engaging visuals, with a strong eye for detail and consistency. You communicate well, welcome feedback, and are motivated by democratising knowledge, communicating ideas, and social impact through sports.

    We welcome researchers from all disciplines who are interested in exploring intersections with boxing, particularly in the social sciences and humanities. We hope that everyone who loves boxing can discover the same thrill in learning about the world as they do in the sport itself.

    Current university student or career researchers. If you do not hold a university qualification but believe that you have what it takes for the role, you will not be disadvantaged and judged solely based on your CV, please submit an application still.​

  • We are looking for experienced social media content creators and editors with a strong track record of producing engaging content. Applicants should be able to submit a portfolio showcasing their work. This role involves planning content strategies, creating content, video shooting and editing, and graphic design. As long as your expertise is relevant, we’d love to hear from you.

    About

    Raising awareness on the issues that we care about is again at the heart of our practice, and producing social media content is one of the best ways to achieve this.​ This includes, but is not limited to, boxing’s transformative power and how it can be used as a bridge to education, inclusion, and more.

    Role

    We are looking for experienced social media content creators and editors with a strong track record of producing engaging content. Applicants should be able to submit a portfolio showcasing their work. This role involves creating content, video shooting and editing, and graphic design. As long as your expertise is relevant, we’d love to hear from you.

    About you

    We strongly prefer applications from those with an background in some form of artistic training, regardless of discipline. (e.g. Visual Art, Design, Film, Theatre etc.) Think having an unique artistic voice and flair is key.

    We are looking for a creative and organised social media content strategist to help shape how Boxing Is Love tells its story across platforms. This role is central to ensuring that our campaigns, research, and programmes are communicated effectively, consistently, and with impact, while also helping to grow our social media presence.

    Role

    You will help develop plans for how Boxing Is Love shares its story across social media and other platforms. You will create strategies for different series and categories of content, identify opportunities to highlight our campaigns, research, and programmes, and work closely with the BiL team to ensure consistency, engagement, and growth of our social presence. 

    About you

    We strongly prefer applications from those with an artistic background, regardless of discipline (e.g., Visual Art, Design, Film, Theatre, etc.) Please also tell us about any experience you’ve had in content strategy, including planning campaigns, developing content series, or growing social media presence, and how you’ve applied your creative perspective in those contexts.

    You will develop plans for how Boxing Is Love shares its story across social media and other platforms. You will create strategies for different series and categories of content, identify opportunities to highlight our campaigns, research, and programmes, and work closely with the BiL team and content creators to ensure consistency, engagement, and growth of our social presence.

  • We developed a bold and innovative programme that combines non-contact boxing with national curriculum subjects like economics, sociology, politics, history, and media to re-engage young people struggling in school or at risk of exclusion. 

    We need your help to bring this to life and help our young people rediscover the excitement of learning. You will teach the academic side of the curriculum. We ask for 1.5 hours of your time each week or every two weeks at one of our central London locations.

    You must have experience teaching the subjects we cover. Boxing should have played a big part in your life, and you should be passionate and knowledgeable about the sport. Most importantly, you are inspiring, nurturing, and someone our young people can look up to.

    About

    We developed a bold and innovative programme that combines non-contact boxing with national curriculum subjects like economics, sociology, politics, history, and media to re-engage young people struggling in school or at risk of exclusion. 

    Role

    You will be responsible for teaching the academic side of the programme to our beneficiaries. We will require 1.5 hour of your time each week or every two weeks, and you will have to travel to one of our locations in central London, more detail to follow.

    About you

    You must have experience in teaching school subjects covered in our curriculum. Boxing must have played a big part in your life, and you are both passionate and knowledgeable about the sport. 

    You must be inspiring, nurturing, and someone that our young people can look up to.
